HomeI'm sorry, I'm not able to take your call at the moment...Aug 10, 2004
But please leave a message and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.

I kind of let this place go to hell, wallow in the back of my digital closet. For some reason it just doesn't fit me as well as it should. We all have stuff like that, some of it rather expensive or possessing emotional significance, for which we would feel guilt if we disposed of it.

Funny, I don't feel guilty about the next closest thing to tossing this place; I just walked away after letting it wend its way to the back of the closet. But I do feel guilty about making links to this place and encouraging friends to try it. Maybe it fits them -- like the brand-new outfit that I gave to a friend, looked like a million bucks on her (and it fit like hell on me).

The transparency thing really stuck in my craw, if I had to pick the places where this hasn't fit.

And so did the UI -- the interface is more cumbersome than Userland Radio blog software, if you can believe it.

I may come back from time to time to see if this place fits; we don't always keep our girlish figures, after all.

p.s. I just realized, looking back at the timing of my last post, that I stopped updating here about the time I started construction of my new home. Wow. I guess I concentrated my energies on something I know will fit me like a glove...
